Subjects we welcome

We consider pitches on fashion publishing, image-making, runway presentation, digital fashion culture and the history of fashion media. A strong proposal has a clear central question, a distinct angle and a reason the subject matters to readers now or over time.

What to include

Use the Contact page to explain the proposed subject, the main point you would explore, the likely format and any relevant sources or image permissions. Keep the pitch focused enough to show what makes it different from familiar coverage. Do not send confidential material or images you do not have permission to share.

How we assess proposals

We look for accuracy, originality, a clear reader benefit and a good fit with the publication. We may ask for more detail before deciding. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication, and should not be written as though commissioned.
